Hi everybody and welcome to our blog !
I'm Fred, and with my wife Sharon we decided early this year that we wanted to build our house.
I've been in Australia for 6 years, and I come from France...my wife being Aussie with a filipino background. We now have 2 beautiful little girls...
Soooo...At first we picked the land we wanted to buy, and......
Well......
I just don't want to talk about the administration bit, the SLOW process from the banks, the builders (yes they are not as fast as we would like, even the good ones!), The Ponds Review Panel, The council ...etc....it's soooo frustrating, and it's now behind us! :-)
So, let's fast forward..... about 1 year has past since we decided to build our house and here we go, with our DA approved and released !!
It's time to start a blog, to share our experience with everybody and especially the people who chose the same builder as us.
We have picked our builder (Wisdom Homes) according to feedbacks we've seen on forums and blogs (this is the way I buy about anything ! :-))....
So my turn to contribute and give as much info as I can about the construction...
I'll write in french sometimes...for my relatives who can't speak english! :-)
